Just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail before I forget and then never do it. I have a bad habit of "never getting around to" things like that. I hope you had a safe, uneventful trip home amidst all the winter weather. Your class was truly a joy. I learned so much about the company, how to handle paper work, my people and most importantly business in general. I am so glad you integrated your entrepreneurial experiences into the Goodyear focused class.
For a few years now, and especially since moving to and working in Scottsdale, I have wanted to successfully own and run my own business. I have seen my step-dad, Bill Sutton, be extremely successful in his venture. He has been a hard worker all his life, as have all the members of both sides of my family.
I assuredly have the "work ethic" gene in my DNA. It was such a pleasure to hear about your triumphs in the business world and how it was an enormous opportunity offered to you by one of Goodyear's own. Unless I misunderstood that part of it??... I will do my part in staying in touch and hope you will allow me to pick your brain on Goodyear matters as well as other possible biz opportunities, should they arise.
